Unusual Kills for Fun & Profit....

The rare and elusive Spotlight kill. You've heard the rumours, here's the evidence.

Less rare, but even more devious is the Commander Radio kill - I think I've tossed up a sample of that little gem once before.

I've heard fast talk about gold bar kills, but alas - it's always someone who knows a guy who knew a guy who saw someone get one once. So it'll have to sit in the "theoretical" ledger for the time being.

Steiner wacked FW190s twice with a Piat tonight. Rainman was the willing & cooperative guinea pig. My kingdom for a spotlight on Totalize, I might have bagged a 190 too.

I don't get it. How does that happen? Or is it an ancient German secret?

Step 1: Place s-mine in likely spot.
Step 2: Use searchlight.
Step 3: Wait for someone to step on s-mine.
Step 4: Get credit for spotlight kill due to buggy BF2 kill messages.

I was hoping it was actually some giant laser beam.

Aw, but 'tis an art - try to survive for any period of time while hanging onto a spotlight.

There are many variations on this. I have to admit that there's something magical about destroying a PZ4 with a radio or with an Opel.

You wouldn't believe the hack accusations that come flying at you when you blow-up a PZ3 with a piper cub while you continue to fly your seemingly innocent little aircraft over the smoldering wreckage. It often fails panzer-wienie logic that a piper could destroy a tank without engaging in an air-to-earth collision. They, of course, become outraged until an explanation is offered.

These are the kinds of little charms that make the game fun!
