Icon4 FH 2.25 - Problems

Hey guys its been a while! hope everyone is good!

Just a quick question, i have not been around much as of late, So i have just downloaded the new 2.25 Patch for FH2, It was working before this but now it just seems to crash to desktop when finish loading? I'v tried to uninstall FH2 and updated punkbuster but to no avail, Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this??

Thanks in advance guys!!

Have you updated BF 2 to version 1.5?
If not you'll need to do that before updating FH2.

It doesn't sound like the issues i'm familiar with where your profiles/preferences get messed up (especially if you switched displays at any point) since you can actually load the game before it crashes.

Seems you've isolated it to FH2 and not BF2 so you might want to check on the developer support forums. I know some brain here will know what the deal is but look there too.

You need FH2.2 downloaded and installed before 2.25, you have that right?

If that's not the problem, your best best is checking the FH2 forums, like Dago said.

Are you using a SLI setup(2 video cards)?

If not then this post will not help.

If so, you have to have 1 card do the Anti-aliasing and the other due the rest, or turn of Anti aliasing altogether. It's the only way I could get mine to Anti-Alias without crashing to desktop ever since the 1.50 BF2 patch came out.

In the game's video options.
Set AA to desired number.

In the Nvidia profile for BF2.exe
AA-mode=Enhance app.
AA-setting=SLI16x

Hope this helps.
